CBDa (cannabidiol acid) is one of over one hundred cannabinoids present in cannabis. From it, as a result of temperature influence, CBD is formed, where it is transformed during heating. The process of converting CBDA to CBD is called decarboxylation. CBDa is considered a small cannabinoid and is only a small part of the overall cannabinoid profile. CBDA quality tests are rare, and most of them focus on the effects of CBD and not on the acid form of the molecule. However, many scientists have begun to study the therapeutic potential of this cannabinoid. Cannabidiol acid (CBDA) has no narcotic effect after ingestion.
CBDa has anti-inflammatory, anti-proliferative and anti-cancer properties. Anti-inflammatory CBDa activity is associated with the inhibition of cyclooxygenase, which is essential for the proper functioning of the circulatory and digestive systems.CBDa inhibits the COX-2 enzyme, which is secreted by breast cancer cells and is mentioned as one of the factors causing the formation of metastases. CBDa has a bactericidal effect and also inhibits the contraction of the gastrointestinal muscles, thus preventing nausea and vomiting, both as a result of chemotherapy and motion sickness. CBDa preparations can be consumed by anyone. They are recommended to all those who want to supplement the deficiency of cannabinoids in their body and improve its general functioning, including its homeostasis or immunity. It is worth noting that the higher the concentration of the extract, the stronger its effect.
What is CBG?
CBG (Cannabigerol) is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid found in the Cannabis of plants. CBG is the non-acidic form of cannabigerolic acid (CBGA), the parent molecule from which many other cannabinoids are made. As with all cannabinoids, CBG is a hydrophobic lipid consisting of a 21-carbon chain linked to an aromatic hydrocarbon ring. It is a precursor to the three main branches of cannabinoids: tetrahydrocannabinol acid (THCA), cannabidiol acid (CBDA) and cannabenzoic acid (CBCA).CBG is not psychoactive, affects the 5HT1 receptor, which supports the regulation of the release of serotonin and areno receptor, which controls the expression of adrenaline and noradrenaline in the entire central nervous system.
Healing properties of CBG
Pain and anxiety – CBG has potential for alleviating pain, especially neuropathic pain where tests suggest a higher efficacy than CBD. CBG can also inhibit the uptake of GABA in the brain, which can decrease anxiety and muscle tension unreliable source? with tests on mice showing that CBG induces antidepressant effects similar to imipramine. Inflammation, digestive conditions – It has been shown to improve a model of inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. Microorganisms – CBG have shown selective antimicrobial activity against Mycobacterium. Skin conditions – CBG induces production of the body’s natural skin moisturizers, holding promise for dry-skin syndromes and with the potential to treat other skin conditions. Glaucoma – Cannabigerol has been shown to relieve intraocular pressure, which may be of benefit in the treatment of glaucoma. Neuroprotection – CBG has been shown to have neuroprotective properties and may prove promising for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Huntington’s disease and multiple sclerosis. Antiseptic – CBG is known to have antiseptic properties and research suggests that it might be effective against the superbug MRSA. Cancer – CBG is showing promising properties in vitro for the potential treatment of a broad range of cancers including breast, liver, lung, pancreatic, skin, ovarian, renal, bladder and colon cancer.
What is CBDV?
Kannabidiwarin (CBDV) is one of the cannabinoids, unique to hemp active substances with a wide range of health applications. Kannabidiwarin belongs to propylene cannabinoids and is closely related to CBD.Kannabidiwarin belongs to propylene cannabinoids and is closely related to CBD. Under the influence of temperature and acidic environment, CBDV can be transformed into CBD and THCV. It’s worth remembering that, like most cannabinoids, cannabidivarin is not psychoactive. Where can we find CBDV? Cannabidivarin is found in some varieties of hemp and is one of over 100 cannabinoids. Like the whole spectrum of cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids characteristic for hemp, cannabidivarin occurs in all subspecies and strains of hemp, however, its content will change depending on the place of origin, subspecies, or the way of cultivation and processing of cut plants. The above-average high concentrations of cannabidivarin were detected in cannabis (C. Sativa s. Indica). However, it can be found in both the more common and the basis for the production of all non-psychoactive hemp products – cannabis (C. Sativa). It’s worth remembering, however, that the content of CBDV in cannabis is low – according to various estimates, about ten times smaller than the CBD. Consequently, to use cannabidivarina, you need to resort to extracts and good quality CBD hemp oils, which will also contain CBDV.
Due to the structural similarity of CBDV to CBD, its efficacy has been studied in fields where the benefits of cannabidiol are already known. Although there is little research on cannabidivarin, the main one of its potentialities may be indicated: antiepileptic effect. CBDV also works as an antiemetic. As with epilepsy, the researchers recommended further detailed studies of these specific compounds, with particular reference to CBDV. The health properties of cannabis have been known for millennia, however, only recently have we started to identify and recognize the relationships responsible for each effect individually. This knowledge is extremely useful from the pharmaceutical point of view. We must pay attention to the quality of the selected product, good quality hemp oil CBD must provide access to the full spectrum of beneficial hemp ingredients, thus enabling their effective operation. In good CBD oils, we can find a number of flavonoids and terpenes besides cannabidiol, as well as other, smaller cannabinoids, such as CBDA, CBG, CBC, or just CBDV.
